This integrated green infrastructure and river restoration project will transform the Brent River Walk where it meets the Capital Ring Route between Gurnell Park and Greenford town centre, including the lower reach of the Costons Brook in Perivale Park. New aquatic passes at the Costons Lane Gauging Weir will open access for fish and eels to almost 5km of semi-natural river channel.

With support from the GLA Green Capital Grant, Ealing Council working in partnership with Thames21, the Environment Agency and the Zoological Society of London, will deliver improvements for wildlife and people providing better access to nature, exciting outdoor learning opportunities and enhanced recreational facilities for local communities and visitors alike.
